With the aim of helping parents protect their children from developing lifestyle disorders due to unhealthy diet, our client was founded with the focus on creating innovative, tasty yet health-focused food products for children. Their products include various millet-based mixes, breakfast cereals, snacks, noodles, etc. They use variety of millets as their main ingredient, such as ragi, jowar, oats, etc.

Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Gurgaon, our client sells their products across several leading online platforms and their products are available in stores in India and the UAE. They have raised a total of $10M in funding over 4 rounds.


As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for being the brand's ambassador, engaging with potential customers and building relationships with existing ones.

What you will do:

  • Engaging with and growing a real community of mothers who love the company
  • Nurturing this community to be our first point of contact for all new products launches, customer insight and feedback
  • Integrating this community through all social media platforms and be a voice for the brand
  • Managing and moderating FB groups
  • Managing and growing community over WhatsApp and email
  • Responding to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
  • Monitoring and reporting on feedback and online reviews
  • Coordinating with Marketing, PR and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency
  • Liaising with Development and Sales departments to stay updated on new products and features
  • Building relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists
  • Staying up-to-date with digital technology trends


Desired Candidate Profile

What you need to have:

  • Proven work experience as a Community Manager
  • Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
