As a Regional Recruitment Manager, you will be responsible for manpower planning, and ensuring quality resources are provided on time to support the business requirements and ensure smooth operations of the business in the region

What you will do:
  • Managing a team of Recruiting professionals and serving as technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the group
  • Developing detailed recruiting strategies to meet the functions’ need for talent acquisition and introducing candidates to managers in anticipation of future hiring needs
  • Setting up sourcing channels (Consultants, Online, Colleges, referrals, inhouse processes, etc)
  • identifying and designing mechanisms of people assessment, tracking & delivering fulfilment of all frontline requirements as per business needs
  • Utilizing social media to build up an established network of function/ business area
  • Planning interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
  • Assessing candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System
  • Designing job descriptions and interviewing questions that reflect each position's requirements
  • Serving as a primary point of contact for senior business leaders and Human Resources (HR) partners and working with function heads and Managing Directors to fill key positions
  • Monitoring key HR metrics, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire and source of hire
  • Participating in job fairs and host in-house recruitment events
  • Managing sensitive and confidential matters, and utilizing in-depth speciality knowledge to resolve complex issues through the influence
  • Engaging candidates from other regions, comprehending issues relating to relocation and tranching of processes, and leading mobility efforts across regions
  • Partnering with line managers to understand strategic staffing needs and driving closures with a sense of urgency
  • Training and educating line managers on recruiting process workflow and ensuring compliance
  • Developing appropriate sourcing channels and external events to minimize vendor dependency

Desired Candidate Profile

What you need to have:
  • Full-Time MBA in HR from a good college
  • Over 6 years experience in Recruitments and will have done extensive bulk and lateral hirings for sales.
  • Subject matter expertise in the areas of talent attraction, assessment and selection at all levels.
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Must have experience in bulk hiring - doing over 200+ hirings in a month.
  • An ideal candidate would come from will be Insurance, Telecom, E-Commerce, Call Centres, etc.
  • Should be an excellent communicator, have a go-getter attitude, and should be open to working extended hours.
  • S/He should be street smart and presentable.
  • Open to people who wish to return from sabbatical and are SMEs in this field.

PG:MBA/PGDM in HR/Industrial Relations
