Our client is a Delhi-based startup founded in 2018 by graduates from VIT. It is a digital marketplace which focusses on assisting their clients in expanding their online presence by finding the right vendors for various IT services including Website development, App development, Online marketing etc.

Our technology-based client is backed-up by venture capitalist and angel investor. It has onboarded over 1000 sellers so far and has facilitated transactions over 6 crores. Their top clients include CBRE, FedEx, Swiggy etc.

They are currently developing India’s first dedicated B2B Service Procurement Platform.

As a Social Media Executive, you will be responsible for managing multiple social media platforms such as Linkedin, Facebook, Quora, Pinterest and Instagram. This is a great opportunity for an experienced social media enthusiast with a passion for storytelling, community building and creating engaging content. This role includes high ownership and accountability of the tasks and would be a cross-functional role where you might work in sales and operations as well.

What you need to do:

  • Understanding the competitive landscape from the standpoint of strategy and functional capabilities
  • Establishing best practices and processes for storytelling about product, brand and clients through the social media pages
  • Creating original content and working closely with the graphic team to create in-trend content on pages
  • Ensuring the brand message reaches the relevant audience at the relevant time through various organic and paid campaigns on various social media platforms
  • Engaging through comments, DMs, story, reels etc
  • Using analytics and insights to track and report on performance, and continually optimising strategy and delivery


Desired Candidate Profile

What you need to have:

  • Experience of 2-6 years in a digital marketing agency and 1-2 years of working experience with startups
  • A strong editorial sense and an understanding of what content works on social media platforms
  • Excellent writing skills and creative flair across copy, imagery and GIF selection
  • Strong written communication and accuracy
  • Experience in building and engaging existing communities as well as reaching out and attracting new ones
  • Experience of using social media analytics to provide evaluation and ideas for solutions, new projects and the bigger picture
  • Confidence in presenting new ideas and strategies
  • Experience or an interest in handling influencer relationships from research to outreach and gifting
